HELLO & WELCOME

Wildlife has shaped who I am. I am a photographer and filmmaker who uses storytelling to celebrate animals, honor their intelligence and personalities, and advocate for their protection.

As a Nikon Ambassador and Associate Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers, I use photography, filmmaking, and public speaking to support conservation efforts around the world. My work has helped raise significant funds for nonprofit organizations and wildlife heroes working to protect vulnerable species and ecosystems.

Thank you for being here. Your images matter, and the planet needs more of them.

With Gratitude,
KO

Celebration of the Prairie

Forest and I shared a short piece from a film in progress at Celebration of the Prairie 2025, hosted by the Southern Plains Land Trust. We also gave a brief presentation highlighting the importance of Colorado’s grasslands and the role storytelling can play in protecting these often overlooked ecosystems. The evening raised awareness and funds in support of grassland conservation and brought together community members, conservation leaders, and Colorado’s First Gentleman, Marlon Reis.

WELL/BEINGS Full Circle Benefit Gala Raises 500,000 for Bolivian Wildlife

In November 2025, I shared two of my films at a Well/Beings gala in New York, helping raise funds for animals impacted by deforestation, illegal wildlife trade, and habitat loss in the Amazon, including vital support for native bee populations.

The evening raised over half a million dollars for conservation efforts, and I had the honor of introducing one of my wildlife heroes, Vicky Osso, whose work has saved hundreds of thousands of animals in Bolivia.

Calling All Pika Enthusiasts, was featured at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Denver. It’s a one-woman production focused on how anyone can help protect pikas. The project was partially funded by the She is Changing the World grant from If/Then. I had the privilege of working with scientists and biologists from Rocky Mountain Wild and the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance.
